New AD: Superior Air Parts & Lycoming
The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive against specific Superior Air Parts PMA crankshafts installed in the Lycoming 360 series engines in various models. We have confirmed Alberta Aero Engine Ltd. has not installed any of the affected crankshafts under this AD.
If you have purchased a crankshaft or engine from Superior Air Parts or had a field overhaul with a PMA crankshaft installed, this AD may affect you.
The AD is effective January 15, 2021
